Next Gridiron Club Meeting, Sunday, April 28th, 2013, 6:00 PM at RPHS. Please plan on attending this meeting. Now is when we start planning football / Gridiron events for the year. This is for all parents, Youth and High School. We need everyones involvement to be successful.
The Gridiron Club and the Youth Football board will work together to form one organization. We will need more parent participation in this organization to be successful. With this in mind our 1st goal is to allow our youth players to play for free. The only way we can accomplish that is to get more parents involved from the High School Program down to the Youth Program. Both high school and youth parents help and support is needed with our annual fundraisers: The Kingmen Gala, The Firework stand, the garage sale & the breakfast at Sweet Tomatoes. We also run the concession stands at all the High School events, Help is currently needed with concessions.
Coach Lewman's vision is to close the loop between the Youth and High School football program. The coaches from the High School will work with the coaches of grades 3 thru 8 to teach fundamentals and skills the kids will use from 3rd grade thru High School. This will provide a safer atmosphere for our youth and make the transition from year to year easier with the consistancy it brings.
Last year some of the funds the Gridiron Club raised help purchase some new gear, cover the cost of the bus to camp along with give some scholarships out for the camp.
Membership is free, you choose to volunteer as little or as much as you want. The more members we have, the stronger the program will be.

Thank you.
