Hello all,
I hope the off season has treated you all well. It was a great season for the team and I have heard that the team really appreciated all of the work that you all put in to make it memorable.
With that Coach and I have been talking and we are going to hold the 1st Gridiron meeting on March 11th at 6:30pm in the Lecture hall at the school. I know it seems like the next season is a ways off, but it really is not, especially with some of the work that we need to accomplish by the start of the season.
As some of you may know, Putnam is switching to a Nike School (in addition to Milwaukie and Clackamas). This change is meaning that we are going to need to purchase all brand new uniforms. While we are getting a great deal on them, there is still a substantial cost above the normal operating costs for the team. We have a few ideas on some ways to fundraise for this and these are going to hopefully be planned out at this meeting. In order to be successful at this, we really need as many of you as possible to be at the meeting. An hour or so at this meeting can save a great deal of time down the road and make the beginning of the season a great deal less stressful.
If you are an Alumni or know an Alumni we need you help as well.
If you are able to make it out on March 11th, please do.
